  • SPAA has planned its inaugural PILOT SKILLS CAMP to be held at Forster, NSW about 50 Nm North Nor East of Newcastle on the weekend of November 10-12th. The $125 fee includes 12 months of registration to the SPAA association

SPAA has planned its inaugural  PILOT SKILLS CAMP to held at Forster , NSW  about 50Nm North Nor East of Newcastle on the weekend of November 10-12th

Arrivals will be welcomed from Friday Afternoon 2pm

The Itinerary is as follows: 

Initial arrival Friday and  gathering for participants will be at Wallis Island Airfield OZFST with transportation to accommodation in Forster by ferry.

Accommodation will be at Forster and Wallis lake Motel  and pre bookings have been secured so please confirm your attendance with SPAA  , ASAP. $150 Twin room per night. 

Our preliminary itinerary is as follows:

  • Arrivals from 2 pm Friday 10am
  • Ferry transportation 4:30 pm to Foster
  • BBQ dinner  Friday at Motel 
  • Saturday Breakfast at   coffee shop in  Forster  7am ( 3-5 mins walking distance)
  • 8am Transportation ferry to Wallis island
  • 8:30am Flight to Training Beach  ( TBA… possibly Tiona )
  • 9am – 12pm Training and beachside lectures
  • Lunch Sandwich platters and cold drinks
  • Flight Training lectures 1- 3pm
  • Joy flights and exploration  till 4
  • Flight back to Wallis island airfield
  • Ferry to Foster 5pm
  • Dinner at    …… ( tba )….. 6:30 
  • Sunday Breakfast at  as per Sat  7am
  • 8am Transportation ferry to Wallis island
  • 8:30am Flight to Training Beach
  • 9am – 12pm Training lectures
  • Lunch Sandwich platters and cold drinks
  • Departure for  home fields
